What a delightful sight! For the first time in about 6 years, parts of the canals in Amsterdam have frozen hard enough to walk and skate on the ice. Spring is right around the corner, but the biting cold and frozen waterways that have suddenly come out of nowhere definitely say otherwise. It’s winter all over again! For those who are willing to brave the cold and carefully tread the ice, dressing warm is essential. Somehow when you are surrounded by a magical winter wonderland scenery, you tend to gravitate towards plaids among other season proof styles. Especially red plaids just catch that cozy, winter vibe that reminds us of the holiday season and matches perfectly with knitwear and tweed. Being the first to set foot on the ice, the freezing cold pleads no contest to the warm navy knitted sweater worn by him, paired with red and navy plaid pants and a leather jacket.
