Be-Bop-A-Lula

Living in the Marais district of Paris means you are surrounded by charming bistro’s, cozy epicerie’s and chique establishments. Yet sometimes you just feel like having a good old burger at an American retro diner. The nostalgic and accessible atmosphere of these typical 50’s style diners can make you feel like you are trapped inside an episode of “Happy Days” or the movie “Greece”. Of course, we are completely on board channeling our inner Danny and Sandy, translating that sweet summer loving into a cozy winter romance. Blue denim, leather and stripes are key ingredients to these period looks, with our hairstyles already surprisingly easy to match with the theme. Having bangs -or as the British say; a fringe- takes quite a lot of maintenance. Whoever has had one would surely agree! But they do add a lovely retro touch to your style, especially when they are slightly round just like Betty Page’s famous coiffure.
