Even when you’re yearning for spring, the whimsical effect of snow falling from the sky makes winter so much more bearable. The cozy white-powdered streets, frosted cars, and snowflakes floating through the air have transformed Amsterdam into a true winter wonderland. The sight of children having fun sledding and building snowmen, and parents with equally cheerful faces almost makes us forget the biting cold. After an hour long walk around the city, we even have frosty hair and eyebrows.
